Gesink Team Big Announcement! Player added to Roster!

That is right we are adding another player to our family roster!  We are looking to fill this jersey with a new player.  And this time the player will not have the option to wear pink or purple!  Nope this player will only be allowed to wear blue!  We are excited to announce we are adopting!!  

Our family is so excited to share our news with you!  We have been praying and thinking about adopting for a lot of years now and know God is showing us it is the right time.  Through a lot of our prayers and research God brought us the agency New Horizons located in Blue Earth, Minnesota.  Through this agency we are looking into adopting from the United States or Liberia.  We begun the process about 4 months ago and we are now getting to the end (we hope) of most of the paper work and will be starting home visits and interviews soon.  We ask for your prayers during this exciting time, for God's guidance and for God to bring us the little boy we have been praying about.  We really have felt God has a little boy out there just waiting to be adopted into our family (little does he know what he is in for with all these girls!)  We will be updating our Blog a lot with info on how the process is going and what step we are going through.  And post prayer requests as we continue on this journey!  We pray you will all be as excited for this adoption as we are and that we can rejoice together when we bring our little guy home!!

Nyiah had fun visiting the Park for Preschool and having our Preschool Program! We curled her hair and let her wear a little makeup, she looked like a Princess, of course!

Of course Sydney is loving soccer again this year. She has made a handful of goals and is glad to be out playing again!

Shalee had fun marching in the Tulip Festival Parade! They worked very hard and she did a great job!!

She also had fun hanging out with her friends there afterwards!
